Ethics Hotline

Have a tough ethics or conduct question and need some advice? The National Association for Court Management is pleased to offer this “ethics hotline.” Questions submitted here are initially sent to Peter Kiefer and Karl Thoennes, two court managers who have extensive experience in ethics issues for court employees. Depending on the subject, your question may be relayed to other court professionals on the NACM Ethics Committee who have a particular expertise in that area, or who might work in a court of similar jurisdiction. On the other hand, if you would prefer that your question be kept confidential, please let us know. We will strictly honor your privacy.
